Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a leading Professional Services business in Derby as they look to recruit an ambitious Commercial Finance Manager into the finance team. The business is PE Backed and has enjoyed rapid growth over the last 2 years, both organically and via acquisition.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key strategic role in a growing organisation, driving financial insight and supporting long-term business planning.
As Commercial Finance Manager, you will lead and develop a team of five, acting as a trusted business partner across the organisation. You’ll provide commercial analysis, enhance financial visibility, and help shape future strategy through robust financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities * Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team of five, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement
* Act as a strategic finance business partner to senior stakeholders across the organisation
* Develop and refine financial models to support commercial decision-making and long-term strategy
* Oversee budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing clear insight and variance analysis
* Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting, and data quality to enhance business performance
* Provide commercial guidance on pricing, profitability, risk analysis, and investment decisions
Ideal Candidate * Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) Qualified by Experience will also be considered
* Strong commercial acumen with experience in business partnering
* Proven line-management experience with a collaborative leadership style
* Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills
* Background in professional services would be desirable although not essential
* Confident communicator able to influence at a senior level

* Salary of up to £70,000 (Dependent on Experience)
*22 Days Holiday (Rising to 25 with service) + Stats
