Job Description:
Reed Accountancy is delighted to partner with a leading Leeds-based business in the centre seeking an Assistant Accountant for a minimum 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will support the preparation of management accounts and oversee the day-to-day treasury operations, including accounts receivable and payable.
Duties:
*Assist in the production of monthly reporting tasks including balance sheet reconciliations
*Manage treasury processes and cash flow forecasting
*Maintain the ledgers and complete accounts to trial balance
*Manage cost control through reviews and look to improve processes
*Manage the accounts receivable and payable processes
*Provide wider assistance include payroll, VAT, forecasting and project
You will need to demonstrate:
*Experience working in a finance team, including banking, ledgers and month-end processes (accruals and prepayments)
*Work well under pressure and meet deadlines
*Demonstrates integrity, collaboration and a positive mindset
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Confident managing budgets and cost control across the business
