Job Description:
The Company:
MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Gateshead area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.
The Role:
*Operate timber production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
*Assemble, finish, and quality-check timber and pallet products to customer specifications.
*Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, sorting, and stacking.
*Support routine maintenance and report equipment issues promptly.
*Work to production schedules and output targets, meeting deadlines without compromising safety or quality.
*Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with company policies.
*Contribute to a positive team culture by supporting colleagues and supervisors as required
The Person:
*Previous experience in a manufacturing, timber, or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential — full training provided.
*Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
*Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
*Physically fit and comfortable with manual, hands-on tasks.
*Flexible and adaptable to shift work or changing priorities.

The Hours
*Monday to Friday
*06:20am to 14:30pm
*14:30pm to 22:20pm
