We are actively seeking an Assistant Management Accountant for a well established and growing company close to Stockport.

The main duties include:
*Ensuring accurate and timely calculation, analysis, and reporting of product and operational costs to support effective decision-making and profitability management.
*Developing and maintaining cost models, monitoring variances, and providing insights that drive cost efficiency and margin improvement.
*Supporting pricing strategies, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring compliance with financial standards and alignment with business objectives.
*Monthly account preparation
*Bank reconciliations
*Supporting audits
*Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial compliance and efficiency
Our client is looking for a candidate who:
*Is currently studying CIMA, ACCA or ACA
*Has product costing experience (or product costing knowledge through studies)
*Has management accounts experience
*Has good Excel skills
*Has an innovative approach, with the ability to identify and develop system improvements
