The Accounts Payable Clerk’s responsibilities:
*Manage and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
*Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
*Maintain accurate financial records and update the accounts payable ledger.
*Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting tasks.
*Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding payment queries.
*Support the preparation of payment runs and ensure timely processing of payments.
*Contribute to process improvements within the accounts payable function.
*Support with the payroll function when required.
*Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company standards.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
