Commercial Finance Analyst (Permanent)
Location: West Yorkshire (commutable from Leeds, Bradford, Manchester and surrounding areas)

A UK retail organisation is looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join its commercial finance function. This role plays a key part in helping the business understand performance drivers, improve profitability and influence commercial decision-making through high-quality analysis and insight.
Key Responsibilities*Analyse sales, margin and promotional performance across key non-food product categories.
*Produce accurate, clear and timely reporting highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
*Support the identification of performance drivers and contribute to recommendations that enhance profitability.
*Work closely with Finance Business Partners to deliver insight for both day-to-day decisions and long-term strategy.
*Assist with forecasting, budgeting and month-end processes, ensuring performance is accurately reflected.
*Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and quality of reporting and analysis.

*Confident using financial systems (experience with Excel, SAP or similar tools is beneficial).
*Curious, proactive and able to challenge assumptions with confidence.
*Able to work independently while building strong relationships with both finance and non-finance teams.
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a focus on delivering actionable insight.
