The Role:
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the preparation of accounts and providing high-quality service to clients. You’ll work closely with senior team members and gain exposure to a variety of tasks within a busy practice setting.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assist in the preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
*Support bookkeeping and VAT return preparation.
*Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
*Liaise with clients to gather information and resolve queries promptly.
*Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines.
Skills & Experience Required:
*Previous experience in an accountancy practice or similar finance role.
*Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
