About the Opportunity
Are you a Level 4 qualified paraplanner looking for a role where your technical expertise truly makes an impact? This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected financial planning firm in Fareham as a Technical Client Support (Paraplanner) professional, working closely with advisers and clients to deliver high-quality, tailored financial solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a highly technical, client-facing role where you’ll be involved in every stage of the advice process. Your responsibilities will include:
*Client Meetings: Sitting in on client meetings alongside the adviser to understand objectives and provide technical input.
*Technical Analysis: Performing complex calculations, research, and cashflow modelling at Level 4/6 expertise.
*Report Writing: Producing detailed suitability reports in-house (with some reports outsourced to chartered paraplanners).
*Research & Planning: Conducting in-depth product and provider research, supporting the adviser with technical recommendations.
You’ll be the adviser’s right-hand person for technical work, ensuring clients receive accurate, compliant, and tailored advice.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
*Qualifications: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (essential).
*Experience: Strong paraplanning background with exposure to complex technical work.
*Skills: Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
*Mindset: A proactive, client-focused approach and ability to work collaboratively with advisers.
Working Arrangements
*Remote or On-site: This role offers flexibility for fully remote or fully on-site working.
*No Hybrid: The firm does not currently offer hybrid arrangements.
