Position: Platform Engineer
Location: Corsham / Remote
Salary: Market Rate (Outside IR35)
Security Clearance: SC Clearance Required | Willing to undergo DV Clearance Required
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our mission-critical programmes within the defence sector. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that underpins national security and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
*Design, build, and maintain secure containerised platforms using Red Hat OpenShift (including RHACM; RHACS advantageous).
*Deliver robust Cloud Engineering solutions in Azure, ensuring scalability and resilience.
*Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code to automate deployments and streamline operations.
*Deploy and support virtualised solutions (VMWare, KASM) across complex environments.
*Integrate and optimise storage solutions, including Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) and Azure storage.
About You
*Extensive hands-on experience in OpenShift and cloud-native engineering.
*Strong background in automation and IaC practices.
*Proven track record in delivering secure, scalable platforms in sensitive environments.
*Clearance eligibility for defence projects.
