Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and committed Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school on a long-term basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong upper KS2 experience who is confident supporting pupils during a crucial phase of their education.
Key Responsibilities * Support the Year 6 class teacher with daily classroom activities
* Deliver targeted group interventions and one-to-one support
* Assist with SATs preparation and help raise pupil attainment
* Contribute to a positive, calm, and engaging learning environment
* Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and wider school teams
Requirements * Proven experience working in Year 6 or upper KS2
* Strong understanding of curriculum expectations and SATs preparation
* Ability to support pupils of varying abilities
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A proactive, reliable, and professional approach
* Relevant TA qualifications (desirable)
