Part-Time Teaching Assistant

*Salary: £14.63 - £16.35 per hour (depending on experience)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. This part-time role involves supporting children and small groups across Key Stage 1, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Support pupils and groups across KS1 in line with the school’s curriculum and ethos.
*Assist with early reading development, including phonics up to Phase 6.
*Provide tailored support for children with higher levels of need, ensuring progress and engagement.
*Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience supporting children in KS1.
*Strong understanding of early reading strategies and phonics (up to Phase 6).
*Experience working with children who have additional or complex needs.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
