Head of Conveyancing – Solihull
Our client is a specialist residential property practice serving the Midlands. With a dynamic, expert-led approach, it delivers a streamlined and personalised conveyancing experience across a wide range of residential property transactions.
It is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Head of Conveyancing to lead its growing department.
About the Role:
*Lead and manage a team of 30 staff across three offices
*Oversee all aspects of residential conveyancing, ensuring technical excellence and compliance
*Report directly to senior management and contribute to strategic decision-making
*Primarily based in Solihull, with occasional travel to London and Middlesbrough
*Support a full spectrum of residential property work, including:
*Sales and purchases
*First-time buyer matters
*Freehold and leasehold transactions
*New build and off-plan acquisitions
*Right to Buy and shared ownership
*Transfers of equity and gifting arrangements
About You:
*Qualified legal professional with substantial conveyancing and managerial experience
*Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team
*Strong business acumen with the ability to drive departmental growth
*Excellent technical knowledge of residential property law
*Confident decision-maker with excellent communication and organisational skills
