Part-Time Class Teacher / Cover Teacher
*Job Type: Part-time (Tuesdays & Wednesdays)
*Location: Wyre
*Salary: £168 - £232 per day
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to join our team in a dual role as a Year 2 Class Teacher on Tuesdays and a Whole School Cover Teacher on Wednesdays. This position is ideal for a flexible and committed educator who enjoys variety and working across different year groups.
Day-to-day of the role:
Year 2 Teacher (Tuesdays)
*Job share with the current Year 2 teacher.
*Curriculum areas to be agreed based on your skills and interests.
*Focus on early reading, including Phase 6 phonics.
*Manage a class of 20 pupils, with no high-level needs.
Cover Teacher (Wednesdays)
*Morning: Provide cover for classes during leadership release time.
*Afternoon: Deliver PPA cover for Year 1 and Year 2, with subjects based on your expertise.
Required Skills & Qualifications
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*Experience teaching KS1, particularly Year 2.
*Strong understanding of phonics and early reading development.
*Ability to adapt and teach across different subjects and year groups.
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
