Role OverviewThis is a dynamic, hands-on position where variety comes as standard. The successful candidate will:
*Design and develop electrical systems, components and control panels
*Commission, test and fault-find inverters, PLCs and other control systems
*Work both in a workshop environment and at customer sites when required
*Conduct root cause analysis and resolve electrical issues efficiently
*Utilise programmable logic controllers to support automation improvements
*Collaborate with mechanical and project engineers to enhance system performance
*Create technical documents, reports and user manuals
*Stay informed about new electrical technologies and industry advancements
Candidate RequirementsTo excel in this role, applicants should bring:
Relevant qualifications (18th Edition preferred)
Strong background in electrical design and system development
Confident understanding of inverters, PLCs and automation control
Ability to work on-site and in-house depending on project demands
Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting capabilities
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think critically and work collaboratively within a team
Experience in dairy/food machinery or automation is desirable
