Health & Safety Coordinator
12 Month FTC
Burton Latimer
£30,000 plus car allowance
**Would suit a candidate with some HSE knowledge or an Assistant looking to step into a Coordinator role**
Following a period of incredible growth my client, a supplier of consumables to the retail industry, now has an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join their team – initially on a 12 month FTC.

Role Purpose:
To support the implementation and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across the company, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies. This role promotes a proactive safety culture by coordinating risk assessments, incident investigations, training, and audits.
Duties include:
*Audit & Action Management
* Work with sites post-audit to complete action plans, monitor progress, and report significant updates monthly.
*Incident Management
* Participate in investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses; conduct Incident Reviews as directed by the HSE Manager.
*Compliance Checks
* Conduct monthly inspections (racking, spill kits, defibrillators, first aid boxes) to ensure legal compliance.
*Safety Culture Promotion
* Drive EHS awareness through campaigns, toolbox talks, and safety briefs.
*EHS360 System Management
* Manage user setup, reporting, action closure, sign-offs, and transfer of policies, risk assessments, and assets.
*Meeting Coordination
* Organize monthly QSHE meetings and weekly/monthly Ops & HSEF meetings, providing analysis and encouraging participation.
The successful candidate will be experienced in a Health & Safety role.
Candidates from a logistics background will be of particular interest but we are also keen to hear from candidates from manufacturing, distribution, etc.
