A national company with a strong reputation in consumer and commercial litigation is looking for an Assistant Solicitor to join its growing Technical Litigation department. This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified to mid-level Solicitor (up to around 4 years’ PQE) looking to take on complex, high-quality work within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
You’ll join a team that specialises in handling a wide range of defended and technical cases, including:
*Mortgage recoveries and possession proceedings
*Defended money claims and title disputes
*Satisfactory quality and breach of contract matters
*Guarantor and conversion claims
*Innocent purchaser and bankruptcy disputes
You’ll manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision, advising clients, drafting key documents and delivering a first-class legal service across diverse and challenging work.
About You
*NQ - 4 years PQE, or FILEX qualified (debt recovery or commercial litigation experience advantageous)
*Experience with CPR and case management systems
*Familiarity with motor commission, unsecured lending, or mortgage recoveries is beneficial
*Strong communication skills, adaptable and client-focused
*A proactive approach to personal and professional development
