Job Description:
Join a prestigious charity in London as a Finance Manager, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing financial operations and systems. Day-to-day of the role:
*Lead day-to-day finance operations including month-end, balance sheet control, journals, and reconciliations.
*Produce accurate and timely management accounts, supporting the Head of Finance with analysis and commentary.
*Support budget holders with forecasting, financial insight, and decision-making.
*Oversee financial controls for both the charity and its Trading Subsidiary.
*Manage year-end processes, liaising with auditors to deliver statutory accounts.
*Contribute to improving our Business Central finance system and reporting tools.
*Support VAT compliance and ensure accurate VAT returns.
*Line manage and support junior team members, fostering a positive and high-performing finance culture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Strong finance experience (qualified, part-qualified or QBE considered).
*Excellent understanding of financial processes, reporting, and controls.
*Confidence in improving systems, processes, and data quality.
*Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
*A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
*Experience with Business Central or similar systems is desirable.
