Pertemps Isle of Wight is currently recruiting for an Industrial Warehouse Operative to join a busy manufacturing site in Newport. This role is ideal for someone physically fit, practical, and confident using industrial equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Role Overview
As an Industrial Warehouse Operative, you will play an important role in keeping production and warehouse areas clean, safe, and well-organised. Duties will include operating a B1 Forklift Truck, driving a small company van when needed, and carrying out industrial cleaning tasks across production floors.

Key Responsibilities

*Operate a B1 FLT to move materials and support production


*Drive a small company van for site-to-site or local transport tasks


*Keep production floors clean, safe, and free from debris


*Assist with organising equipment and maintaining tidy work areas


*Handle industrial cleaning tools and machinery as required


*Follow all health and safety procedures at all times



What We’re Looking For

*Valid B1 Forklift Truck licence


*Clean UK driving licence


*Physically fit and comfortable with manual, industrial tasks


*Good awareness of workplace safety


*Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently


*Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments beneficial



Contract Details

*Start Date: January


*Contract: Temporary – ongoing


*Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour


*Hours: Full-time, daytime shifts


*Location: Newport, Isle of Wight
