Job Description:
MS Dynamics 365 Business Central / Shopify support Engineer
Rate - £500 / £525 Outside IR35
Duration - 3 months
Location - Fully remote
Sanderson is currently working with an organisation who require a D365 Business Central/Shopify Support Engineer to bridge ERP and e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless integration, smooth operations and excellent support for business users. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem solving skills and a customer focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide technical support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Shopify platforms
*Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integrations, data synchronisation and workflows
*Liaise with support partners for issues that require 2nd/ 3rd line support and coordinate activities between partners where required
*Collaborate with internal teams to analyse business requirements and implement solutions
*Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement
*Assist with configuration, customisation and updates to Business Central and Shopify
*Document support cases, resolutions and best practices for knowledge sharing
*Train and guide end-users on system functionality and best practices
*Work closely with developers and vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
*Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP modules, finance, inventory, sales)
*Experience with Shopify (Avalara, store setup, apps, themes, POS, APIs)
*Understanding of integration tools and middleware (e.g., BC to Shopify connector, APIs, EDI)
*Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data analysis for troubleshooting and reporting
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
*Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
