Senior Delivery Manager
Location: London (2-3 days per week on-site)
Contract: 6 months, Inside IR35
Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Delivery Manager to lead complex programmes and ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives within a central government setting. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and expertise in shaping policy and strategy.
Key Responsibilities *Drive end-to-end delivery of large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance standards.
*Develop and implement policy and strategy frameworks to support programme objectives.
*Manage multi-disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
*Engage with senior stakeholders to influence decision-making and resolve delivery challenges.
*Oversee governance, risk management, and reporting across all delivery phases.
*Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and embed strategic change initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience *Proven track record as a Senior Delivery Manager in complex, high-profile programmes.
*Must have experience working within central government.
*Strong experience in policy development and strategic planning.
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at senior levels.
*Deep understanding of delivery frameworks, governance, and risk management.
*Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a hybrid working environment.
*Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
