Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join one of our Manufacturing clients in the Leeds area.

Role: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
Location: Otley
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Shifts: *Week 1: Work 4 consecutive night shifts, followed by 3 days off.
*Week 2: Work 3 consecutive day shifts, have 1 day off, and then work 3 consecutive night shifts.
*Week 3: Have 3 days off, followed by 4 consecutive day shifts.
*Week 4: Have 7 consecutive days off.

Key Responsibilities:

*Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment.
*Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
*Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
*Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
*Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of machinery.
*Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:
*Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or similar role.
*Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
*Proficient in using hand and power tools.
*Excellent problem-solving skills.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*Good communication and teamwork skills.
*Relevant mechanical engineering or technical qualification is preferred.
