Elevation Recruitment Group’s Engineering & Manufacturing Service Division are working with a leading Fire & Security Systems Specialist company as they grow their Maintenance & Support Team to recruit a Field Service Engineer to cover their busy South Yorkshire and North Midlands patch.
The Field Service Engineer will be working closely with the senior engineers and report directly to the Service Manager. The role will mainly involve day to day service calls and supporting the engineers with the installation and commissioning of systems in high security areas.
The responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer include:
*Assisting senior engineers with the installation of security systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarms
*Handle reactive and scheduled service calls and visits to customer sites
*Fault finding, repair, and maintenance of security systems (hardware and IP)
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience for the Field Service Engineer:
*Must be proficient in IP and IT, with preferred experience in IP networks, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
*Public space CCTV experience would be an advantage (police stations, government buildings, airports, etc)
*CSCS, ECS, and IPAF licenses are preferred
