Description
*Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
*Support budget preparation and financial forecasting processes.
*Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
*Manage cash flow, including monitoring and forecasting requirements.
*Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as needed.
*Provide financial insights and recommendations to aid strategic decision-making.
*Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*A professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or be working towards one.
*Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
