Our client, a highly respected independent accounting firm with offices across Suffolk, is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to join their growing team. Why This Role?
Located in their main office 25 mins from Stowmarket, you’ll be one of the most senior members of a team managing payroll for over 100 clients. Your expertise will ensure accuracy, compliance, and exceptional client service.
What You’ll Do (not limited to):
*Act as one of the primary links between the payroll department and clients, resolving queries and providing expert guidance.
*Manage the full payroll cycle for weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay runs.
*Handle complex calculations including BIK, SSP, SMP, pensions, DEA, and salary adjustments.
*Ensure pension data and contributions are accurate and up to date.
*Complete end-of-year processes and issue P60s.
*Submit RTI submissions with precision.
What We’re Looking For
*Proven experience managing multiple payrolls—whether in an accountancy firm, payroll bureau, or multi-company environment.
*Strong IT skills; BrightPay experience is a plus (training provided if needed).
*A proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a client-focused role.
