Audit Semi-Senior
*Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Join a highly respected accountancy practice based in Hertfordshire as a Semi Senior Auditor. Day-to-day of the role:
*Preparation of business accounts from client’s information.
*Completing general ledger operations and preparing journal entries.
*Preparing business tax computations and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
*Assisting with personal tax returns and running year-end closings.
*Maintaining in-house control procedures.
*Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of financial and management accounts.
*Preparing VAT returns and liaising with clients as required.
*Implementing and reviewing client bookkeeping systems.
*Traveling to clients across the region for on-site audits under the supervision of the Audit Manager.
*Performing administrative duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*ACA/ACCA part qualified or AAT qualified.
*2-3 years of practice experience.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
*Experience with accounting packages such as IRIS, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, CCH, etc.
*Intermediate Excel/Word/Outlook capabilities.
*Flexible and adaptable attitude with meticulous attention to detail.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Hands-on approach with a willingness to assist other areas of the business.
*Strong communication skills and a methodical work ethic.
