Our client, based in Stratford-upon-Avon, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Administrator to join their team. This is a key role focused on supporting customers, processing orders, and ensuring smooth communication between departments.
Role Overview:
As Customer Service Administrator, you will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, processing sales orders, and coordinating dispatch. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation, while maintaining a high standard of customer care.
Key Responsibilities:
*Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
*Process sales orders, allocate stock, and coordinate shipping arrangements.
*Liaise with internal departments including Operations and Dispatch to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
*Generate and manage backorder reports to monitor outstanding orders.
*Raise invoices, print pick slips, and maintain accurate records in the MRP system.
*Support purchasing by raising purchase orders and assisting with inventory control.
*Maintain and update customer and product data in the ERP system.
*Contribute to KPI tracking and assist with audits and stock takes.
*Support continuous improvement initiatives and team development projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
*Strong experience with MRP/ERP systems.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*Previous experience in customer service and administration, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution setting.
*High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
*A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
