We have an exceptional opportunity for a Finance & Operations Director to join a well-established and growing business in Suffolk. This is a pivotal role, combining high-level financial leadership with hands-on operational oversight and commercial insight.
What You’ll Do
*Shape and deliver the financial strategy to support growth, profitability, and resilience.
*Act as a trusted advisor to the Board, influencing key business decisions and long-term planning.
*Lead financial modelling, scenario planning, and commercial analysis for strategic initiatives.
*Oversee Accounts and HR teams, ensuring alignment between financial performance and workforce strategy.
*Champion a customer-focused approach, aligning financial decisions with service delivery and client satisfaction.
*Drive continuous improvement in finance and HR operations, systems, and reporting capabilities.
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant senior finance experience.
*Proven leadership in a Finance Director or similar role, ideally within logistics, transport, or related sectors.
*Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence strategic decisions.
*Experience managing cross-functional teams including Finance and HR.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
*Advanced proficiency in financial systems and data analysis tools.
