Location: 35-43 Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London WC2A 3PE - Hybrid 2 -3 days in the office
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Hours: Full time
BAPRAS (British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons) is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their team on a full time, hybrid basis.
BAPRAS speaks for the majority of reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgeons providing services to patients in the UK today. As the voice of plastic surgery, BAPRAS sees its role as increasing understanding of the scope of plastic surgery. They aim to raise the profile of plastic surgeons as an intrinsic element of care teams providing specialist care to patients with a wide range of conditions. Continuing their objective of advancing education, BAPRAS is always looking to promote innovation within the speciality of plastic surgery.
As Finance Manger you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation. Your focus is on ensuring that the organisation’s growth is healthy by setting viable finance plans and drafting financial reports which will enable the Head of Secretariat and Finance Committee to make data driven decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:-
*Overseeing end-to-end finance operations,
*Preparing financial statements including income, balance sheet and cash flow statements for BAPRAS, BFIRST, PRASIS and Microsurgical Societies
*Recommend improvements to financial procedures and controls
*In conjunction with the Head of Secretariat develop and manage the budgets for the organisation, monitoring spending and financial resource allocation.
*Preparing accurate and timely management accounts for presentation and agreement with the Head of Secretariat and Officers.
*Running and managing monthly payroll; liaise with pension and external payroll providers and calculate salary re-charges
You will need:-
*Degree in finance, accounting or economics or AAT Level 4 or ACCA certification, or CIMA certification
*3 years’ experience as in a Finance Manager or similar position.
*Experience of working within a finance function within a charity or membership organisation
*Experience preparing management accounts
*Proven knowledge of accounting principles practices standards and regulations
