Job Description:
Equestrian Teaching Assistant – Full-Time (West Sussex)
Location: Countryside of West Sussex (near East Grinstead and Crawley)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30
Pay: £110 - £120 per day
Contract: Long-term with potential for permanent placement
About the Role:
We are looking for an Equestrian Teaching Assistant to support students during horse-riding lessons at a specialist school. You will be working with pupils who have identified social, emotional, behavioural and mental health needs, and social communication difficulties. Some students are on the autism spectrum, and all have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a supportive environment and wants to make a difference in the lives of young people.
Requirements:
*Previous experience supporting children (not necessarily in a school)
*Experience with SEN/SEMH/learning difficulties is desirable
*Driving licence essential due to rural location
Start Date: January, interviews will be running shortly
