Company: Large Group Business (People-Led, Recruitment-Driven Growth)
Location: London (Hybrid, 3 -4 days a week for the right hire profile)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Recruitment Director / Search Director who understands that senior hiring is not just recruitment — it’s influence, network leverage, advisory, and revenue creation.
This is a high-impact leadership role inside a large and established group business, where you will:
*Lead search delivery on £100k+ senior mandates across UK and global markets,
*Develop and coach high-performing recruitment leaders, and
*Drive personal revenue alongside group-wide hiring outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone who blends:
Executive-Search credibility,
Commercial and industry knowledge (Commerce & Industry / PE-backed firms preferred), and
Recruitment-agency leadership experience (director level or equivalent).


Core Responsibilities
Executive Search & Senior Placement Delivery
*Manage search strategy and delivery for transformation, senior finance executives across Commerce & Industry, PE portfolio businesses and VC-backed companies
*Lead market mapping, competitor analysis and A-player outreach for retained and high-value briefs
*Own end-to-end search cycles, from proposition to placement to rebate/offboarding insights
*Personally bill and contribute revenue, with clear target expectations tied to delivery
Strategic Advisory to Board & Leadership
*Shaping the business’ senior hiring goals and long-term commercial direction
*Partner with CEOs, investors and founders to design role profiles that enable growth not just fill a role
4. Network & Revenue Activation
*Utilise an existing loyal network across high-growth and finance markets to shorten hiring cycles
*Convert relationships into placements that also drive revenue & future retained hiring confidence
*Build trust that turns a one-time search into repeat hiring advantage
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
*10+ years experience in 360 recruitment or executive search (within UK market)
*6+ years’ experience leading teams at Director or Practice-Lead level inside a recruitment agency
*Proven experience placing senior hires within transformation or finance market
*Strong commercial acumen and revenue-driven mindset
*Outstanding ability to influence and close passive senior executive profiles via networks and direct outreach
*Comfortable working hybrid, with some global travel when needed
Nice to have
*Prior experience supporting PE portfolio companies
*Billing capability in personal capacity alongside leadership remit
*Experience turning inbound interest into commercialised talent advantage
*Exposure to retained search, incentive structures, rebates and mapping ROI on senior desks
