Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced School HR Support professional with strong administration or PA skills to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth HR operations within the school, supporting recruitment, compliance, and day-to-day HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Recruitment Administration:
*Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job adverts, coordinating interviews, and managing pre-employment checks.
* HR Records Management:
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records by processing new starters, leavers, and staff changes in the HR system.
* Safeguarding & Compliance:
*Carry out thorough DBS checks and ensure all compliance requirements are met in line with safeguarding policies.
* General HR Support:
*Manage HR correspondence, support meetings, and contribute to HR projects as needed.
* Point of Contact:
*Act as a trusted and professional contact for internal and external HR queries, providing friendly and efficient support.
Skills & Experience Required
*Strong administrative or PA background, ideally within an educational setting.
*Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
*Knowledge of HR processes and safeguarding compliance (DBS checks).
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
*Professional communication skills and a proactive approach.
