Description
Finance Manager duties include;
*Oversee the financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
*Manage and develop a small Finance Team , setting their objectives, and overseeing all day-to-day activities
*Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
*Responsible for preparing the month-end processes ensuring costs and income suitably accrued, prepaid, or deferred as appropriate
*Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
*Managing and continually improving departmental reporting and analysis, working with managers to understand the results and drive improvement.
*Develop a strong working relationship with the key stakeholders of the businesses as well as a commercial understanding of the businesses, playing a key role in improving financial performance.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
*Fully Qualified (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
*Previous people management experience
*Proficiency in financial management systems and tools.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Proven ability to manage and lead a finance team.
*Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
