Prospero Teaching are supporting a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in the Chester area who are seeking a full-time KS2 Teacher for a long-term role starting in January. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who thrives in the upper or lower Key Stage 2 classroom and is committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential.
The role
As a KS2 Teacher, you will take responsibility for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that support pupils’ academic progress and personal development. You will work alongside a supportive senior leadership team, teaching assistants and specialist staff to ensure every child feels confident, valued and challenged. The school are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, child-centred and highly committed to creating a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
*Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
*Creating a warm, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
*Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress
*Supporting pupils’ social, emotional and academic development
*Working closely with teaching assistants and wider school staff
*Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
*Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

The ideal candidate
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
*Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
*Confident, enthusiastic and able to deliver engaging lessons
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Reliable, proactive and committed to high standards
*Understanding of safeguarding and school policies
