About the Role
As Finance and Operations Manager, you will take ownership of core business support functions, enabling the CEO to focus on strategic growth and client delivery. This is a hands-on, varied role covering finance, HR, compliance, IT, property, and supplier management. You’ll proactively manage operational issues, drive improvements, and ensure the business runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare monthly reporting packs and cash flow forecasts
*Manage credit control and liaise with outsourced finance providers
*Oversee supplier relationships and cost control
*Support financial planning and analysis for better business decisions
*Coordinate HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and compliance
*Manage benefits packages and EMI scheme
*Maintain statutory records and ensure regulatory compliance
*Oversee IT support and procurement, ensuring systems are secure and fit for purpose
*Manage office leases, maintenance, and supplier contracts
*Identify and resolve operational issues, improving processes and systems
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*Experience managing finance, HR, operations, compliance, and IT in a small business environment
*Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
*Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
*Comfortable coordinating outsourced suppliers and managing contracts
*High levels of integrity, discretion, and adaptability
*Proficiency with technology and process improvement
