Our client, a key player within the Defence & Security sector, is seeking skilled AWS Cloud Integration Engineers to join their team on a contract basis. This role supports the creation, management, and distribution of aeronautical information within a cloud infrastructure, specifically focusing on AWS. The position is based in Malvern with opportunities for remote working and requires Security Clearance (SC).
Key Responsibilities: *Design, develop, and deploy AWS cloud infrastructure and services to support the P-AIC systems.
*Identify problems, provide pragmatic solutions, and deliver various technical outputs including presentations, documentation, test plans, user guides, and CI/CD pipelines.
*Collaborate with subcontractors to integrate products into the P-AIC System of Systems and the MOD Cloud Environment.
*Ensure alignment with compliance requirements while supporting other engineering and assurance teams.
*Engage fully in the agile development approach and support estimation and change control processes.
Job Requirements: *Proficiency in AWS and experience with a broad range of cloud services.
*Strong scripting skills and automation experience using tools like Ansible.
*Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
*Advanced use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and best practices.
*Understanding of cloud security best practices and competency with Identity and Access Management (IAM).
*Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills, with experience in incident response.
*Experience working in an Agile methodology.
*Ability to write comprehensive technical documentation and manage configuration control (Git).
*Experience with Terraform is highly desirable.
