Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
*Perform welding and fabrication tasks using MIG, TIG, and flux-core techniques.
*Interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics.
*Cut, shape, and assemble metal components to specification.
*Work with a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and duplex.
*Maintain quality standards and adhere to safety procedures.
*Be flexible to work overtime when required.
Skills & Experience:
*Proven experience in welding and fabrication (ideally 8+ years).
*Ability to weld to recognised industry standards.
*Strong understanding of fabrication processes and materials.
*Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
*Time-served or equivalent vocational qualification in welding/fabrication.
*Current coding in MIG, TIG, and flux-core welding preferred.
*Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.
Working Hours & Pay:
*Standard 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with regular overtime opportunities.
*Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
