Description
*Manage and optimise network infrastructure, including virtual networks, cloud platforms, and WAN technologies.
*Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers.
*Deploy security and operational updates in line with business guidelines.
*Monitor network performance and resolve bottlenecks.
*Support backup and disaster recovery solutions.
*Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture
*Dell Servers, including iDrac
*Knowledge of SAN’s operations
Profile
A successful Network and Infrastructure Engineer should have:
*Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), subnetting, VLANs, VPNs, and load balancing.
*Experience with FortiNet firewalls and Cisco switches (including CLI configuration and firmware updates).
*Proficiency in Windows operating systems and active directory.
*Demonstrated ability to design / troubleshoot complex network.
*Experience working with hybrid infrastructure and virtual networks.
*Ability to work collaboratively across infrastructure and security teams.
*Willingness to work outside of core hours when required.
