Job Description:
Our client, Cambridgeshire County Council, is seeking an agency Social Worker for its Family Safeguarding team.
The pay rate is £39 umbrella.
The role will involve the following:
*Completing statutory visits CIN, CP and CIC
*Chairing CIN and Core Group Meetings
*Holding caseload of CIN, CP, and CIC
*To include some cases that may be in PLO, or S31 Care Proceedings.
*Completion of Court Reports, risk assessments and parenting assessments.
*Attending Court with support of Senior practitioner or Team manager.
*Supporting with Duty rota.
*Attending ICPC and RCPC’s, writing conference reports.
*Managing and assessing risk.
*Hybrid working – 2/3 days in the office - Wisbech

Requirements of the role:
*Qualified Social Worker
*Fully Social Work England registered
*3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
*Must have significant experience in children’s social care, in particular within this type of setting
*Must have court experience
