Credit Controller

£32k depending on experience
Our client is a well-established business based in St Albans. We are supporting them to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join them on a permanent basis. You must have previous experience in Credit Control, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
*Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment.
*Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence.
*Allocate payments accurately and reconcile accounts.
*Resolve queries and disputes promptly and professionally.
*Prepare regular reports on debtor status and escalate issues where necessary.
*Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth credit processes.
Skills & Experience Required:
*Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
*Strong communication and negotiation skills.
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software Sage Line 50
