We are currently looking for a Technical Manager to oversee our service operations. This pivotal role involves ensuring that all technical specifications and requirements are consistently met according to our established service model.
Responsibilities:
*Achieve sales targets for the service provision sector.
*Provide expert technical guidance on within the service operations.
*Spearhead initiatives in berry development including the introduction of new varieties, innovative packaging solutions, and grower development.
*Assist in compiling comprehensive Due Diligence documentation to support service provision requirements.
*Conduct necessary visits and audits as needed.
*Promote and support the Ethical and Sustainability agendas.
*Collaborate with the technical team to oversee procedures, processes, and compliance with legal standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*In-depth knowledge and experience in management.
*Comprehensive understanding of compliance regulations including Food Safety, Health & Safety, Customer Policies, Sustainability, and Supplier Approval processes.
*Certified in farm audit practices, Health & Safety, HACCP, and BRC.
*Familiarity with industry-specific audit and compliance standards.
*Strong relationship-building skills with growers and internal team members.
*Well-versed in sustainability practices, carbon accounting, WRAP protocols, and responsible sourcing.
*Systematic and methodical in task management with excellent administrative skills.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
*Effective communicator with strong presentation skills.
*Holds a relevant degree and practical experience in Agronomy.
*Trained in relevant industry standards such as BRC, HACCP, and GFSI.
