Job Description:
HR & Workforce Development Coordinator
I am looking for a proactive and organised HR & Workforce Development Coordinator to join a busy HR team and play a key role in shaping the employee experience from onboarding through to ongoing professional development.
About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding position that combines HR administration, training coordination, and employee engagement. You’ll be responsible for ensuring new starters receive a warm and professional welcome, coordinating development programmes, and maintaining accurate HR records and systems.
Key Responsibilities
*Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes to ensure a smooth and engaging start for new employees.
*Support the planning and delivery of staff development initiatives, including management training and CPD activities.
*Liaise with internal stakeholders and external providers to source and evaluate training opportunities.
*Maintain accurate training records, skills matrices, and employee files.
*Administer the annual performance and development review cycle.
*Provide confidential and efficient HR administrative support, including recruitment coordination, contracts, and pre-employment checks.
*Support payroll, pensions, and benefits administration in collaboration with external suppliers.
*Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and equality policies.
*Contribute to the development of HR systems and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery.

*Experience in HR administration or workforce development.
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
*Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
