Pastoral Support Officer

Pay: £14–16 per hour
Hours: 30–37 per week (Term Time Only)
Location: Kings Langley
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them thrive? Join a dedicated team as a Pastoral Support Officer and play a vital role in shaping students’ wellbeing and success.
What You’ll Do:
*Be a trusted mentor for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
*Support positive behaviour and attendance strategies.
*Work closely with parents, staff, and external agencies to ensure every child feels supported.
*Help deliver exciting programmes like KS2–KS3 transition and KS4 careers guidance.
*Assist with safeguarding processes and provide a safe, nurturing environment.
*Get involved in school life – from events and parents’ evenings to lunchtime supervision.
What We’re Looking For:
*Great communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
*Strong ICT, literacy, and numeracy skills.
*A team player who can also use initiative and problem-solving skills.
*Someone who cares deeply about making a positive impact on young lives.
