Dispute Resolution Solicitor – Manchester
I’m working with a top-tier UK law firm that’s looking to add a Commercial Litigation Associate (2–4 PQE) to its highly regarded disputes team. The work is a mix of complex national and international litigation, covering everything from contractual disputes to contentious insolvency and public law matters.
This is a genuinely collaborative environment. You’ll be joining a close-knit team that works across offices, where associates are supported at partner level and encouraged to take real ownership. Whether it’s running files or getting involved in BD and client development, you’ll be trusted and backed.
What you’ll be doing:
*Advising on a broad mix of commercial litigation, arbitration and ADR
*Running your own caseload with appropriate supervision and assisting on larger matters
*Working on cross-border cases with both commercial and public law angles
*Getting involved in seminars, marketing and client relationship-building
*Handling files in line with Lexcel standards and firm procedures
What this firm is looking for:
*Qualified solicitor with 2 to 4 years’ post-qualification experience
*Solid contentious experience, Insolvency exposure is helpful but not essential
*Confident managing files independently where appropriate
*Commercially minded, client-focused and a strong team player
*Proactive, flexible and genuinely enthusiastic about disputes work
