Day-to-day of the role:
*Lead financial operations across UK and US entities.
*Build and manage cashflow models and budgeting processes.
*Oversee treasury and cash management.
*Handle US tax filings and intercompany purchasing.
*Support inventory accounting and cost tracking.
*Collaborate with a part-time bookkeeper and gradually take over core accounting tasks.
*Implement scalable financial systems and controls.
*Provide financial reporting and strategic analysis to support decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
*Experience in startups or high-growth environments, essentially within the drinks industry
*Background in FMCG or inventory-heavy businesses.
*Strong understanding of UK and US accounting and tax compliance.
*Comfortable working remotely and independently.
*Curious, proactive, and resourceful — thrives in ambiguity.
*Hands-on approach with a builder’s mindset.
