Senior Management Accountant
Premium Women’s Fashion Retail (Progression to FC)
West London (Hybrid – Mon–Thurs office)
£60,000 – £70,000 + benefits
A growing premium women’s fashion retailer is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to take full ownership of the monthly management accounts, reporting directly to the Finance Director. This is a pivotal hire with clear progression to Financial Controller level as the business continues to scale.
You’ll produce accurate, insightful reporting across P&L, balance sheet and cashflow, and ensure data integrity across stock, systems and sales channels. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who understands every number you produce – genuinely "owns the pack" – and is comfortable explaining it to auditors and senior stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
*Fully own the monthly management accounts pack, including balance sheet reconciliation
*Deliver clear reporting and commentary for senior leadership
*Prepare for audits, working papers and supporting schedules
*Partner with merchandising, operations and eCommerce on stock and sales accuracy
*Drive improvements in systems, controls and financial processes
*Assist with budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
*Experience owning full month-end and balance sheet reconciliations
*Confident preparing working papers and audit-ready files
*Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots, sumifs, linking schedules)
*Detail-oriented, able to communicate clearly, and comfortable in a busy fast paced environment
*Retail, consumer or stock-based experience an advantage but not essential
