Streets Operative

We are seeking a dedicated Streets Operative to join our team, focusing on maintaining clean and safe public spaces. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has a strong commitment to upholding health and safety standards.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Remove litter and detritus from public spaces to ensure a clean environment.
*Regularly empty litter bins across designated areas to maintain cleanliness.
*Sweep pavements using hand brooms to keep walkways clear and safe.
*Report issues such as graffiti and fly tipping to the relevant authorities.
*Ensure strict compliance with health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure public safety.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Must possess a full clean driving licence.
*Capable of performing manual labour, including walking and lifting heavy objects.
*Strong understanding of health and safety practices, particularly in outdoor environments.
*Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
