General Cover Teacher – Wythenshawe, Prospere Trust Wythenshawe School, part of the Prospere Trust, is seeking a reliable and professional General Cover Teacher to manage classrooms during teacher absences. ? Key Responsibilities: * Deliver lessons in the absence of the regular teacher following provided plans

* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment

* Support all pupils’ learning needs during cover lessons

* Report any concerns or incidents to relevant staff

* Assist with administrative or pastoral tasks as required

* Ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained at all times

? Essential Requirements / Qualifications: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Experience teaching in a school environment

* Strong classroom management and organisational skills

* DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain

* Ability to adapt to different subjects and year groups

? Desirable Experience: * Previous experience as a cover teacher or supply teacher

* Experience in secondary school settings

* Familiarity with the national curriculum across multiple subjects

* Experience supporting pupils with SEN or behavioural challenges

* Ability to deliver lessons across a range of subjects and key stages
