Halewood Academy, part of the Wade Deacon Trust and partnered with The Supply Register, is seeking a reliable and organised Cover Supervisor to manage classrooms during teacher absences. ? Key Responsibilities: * Supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher

* Follow lesson plans and ensure students remain on task

* Support pupils’ learning and behaviour management

* Report any issues to the relevant staff member or SENCO

* Ensure a safe, productive, and positive classroom environment

* Provide administrative support to teaching staff when required

? Requirements / Qualifications: Essential:
* Experience working with children in a school environment

* Good classroom management and communication skills

* DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one

* Ability to follow instructions and maintain professionalism in a classroom setting

Desirable:
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor qualification

* Experience in behaviour management or supporting pupils with SEN

* Knowledge of the national curriculum

* First Aid qualification
