Job Description:
A well-established and reputable business based in Whitby is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional looking to influence strategic decision-making and play a key role in driving business performance. On offer is a competitive salary of up to £75,000, along with a great benefits package.
As the Senior Finance Business Partner, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
*Providing strategic financial insight to support commercial and operational decision-making
*Leading budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes
*Analysing financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
*Partnering with commercial and operational teams to provide actionable financial guidance
*Preparing management reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor business performance
*Supporting senior leadership in evaluating investment decisions and business initiatives
*Presenting complex financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels
To succeed in this Senior Finance Business Partner role, you should ideally have:
*A recognised professional accountancy qualification or similar experience
*Proven experience in a finance business partnering or senior management finance role
*Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data presentation skills
*Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
*Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge effectively
*Commercial awareness and the ability to translate financial data into strategic actions
