Job Description:
Location: Academy School, West Molesey, KT8
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Friday 19th December
Contract Type: Short-Term Temporary Assignment
Pay Rate: £14–£15 per hour (depending on experience)
About the Role:
We are urgently seeking a reliable and experienced Caretaker to provide emergency short-term cover at an academy school in West Molesey (KT8). This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school premises.
Key Responsibilities:
*Opening and closing the school premises each day
*Managing school supplies and stock control for cleaning and maintenance
*Carrying out general cleaning and upkeep of communal areas
*Performing minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks
*Ensuring health & safety compliance across the site
*Monitoring contractors and assisting with site security
Requirements:
*Previous experience as a caretaker or in a similar facilities role
*Ability to work independently and manage priorities
*Knowledge of basic maintenance and health & safety procedures
*You MUST already hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (this is essential for immediate start)
